Biography: Keith Vingoe
For several years the Managing Director of his own company specialising in providing professional business advice on modern business practices, methods and technologies.
Is a qualified economist and statistician so has a high level of understanding of these subjects as well as accountancy practices and the provision of legal documentation relating to company structure.
Is currently the Managing Director of the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway, so has specific skills in railway management such as the inauguration and operation of Safety Management Systems and their prerequisite documentation. The feasibility of rail operations including potential returns, passenger numbers and the importance of developing relationships with regional and national government, landowners, residents etc.
Has also served as a the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and whilst in that position managed the restructuring of the Trusts charitable status including completely rewriting its Memorandum and Articles of Association.
Other interests are local history, transport and its role in social history and is a published co- author of a book on this subject.
