TIR has the capacity to provide fixed-price contracts to lay or upgrade all types of track through internal resources or partner Companies.
TIR can also supply programmed maintenance and supervision for ROGS compliance.
Narrow Gauge Track
50lb Flat bottom turnouts (2'6" gauge) can be re-gauged to order or supplied as is.
50lb Flat bottom plain track can be supplied in complete panels (2'6" gauge) or broken down into component form and sold as rail, sleepers and fixings separately. This material has been sourced from an ex-MOD site and is in excellent condition having been manufactured in 1984/5 and little used. A random sample has been subjected to a head wear test (gauged) and found to have minimal or undetectable amount of wear. Additionally the rail does not have any significant areas of surface corrosion or scabbing.
